    Description

Erich Palmowski was a war correspondent for the German elite command who also produced artwork like this print, and many of his works can be
found in publications, magazines and newspapers of the era.  He was also featured in an art exhibit during the war where his portfolio of 20 works was displayed.  This exhibit was organized by the German High Command and featured artists from across Germany.  I believe this print is from one of the portfolios that were of the 20 works displayed.  Very rare print, and it is very hard to find very much information at all about his original works online.  One of his paintings did sell at auction in 2017.  It is easier to find his works in the magazines of the period.
I am certain this is an original.  The glass was very dirty and it looks to have been in this frame for a very long time.  Both business' on the back no longer exist, and I would estimate the framing to be probably from the 60's or early 70's.
