Antique Silver Plated Pedestal Wedding Basket - Grape Pattern

Description

This rare and beautiful wedding basket features the "Vintage" or grape and leaf pattern, which was designed by the Rogers company and produced from 1904 through 1918.   The handle is hinged allowing it to swivel 180 degrees.  It is detailed and very ornate.
The underside of the basket is decorated with vines while the bottom of the pedestal features leaves and stems.
With the handle extended upward the height is 9.5" and the diameter is a full 12".  The pedestal diameter is 4.5".
Total weight of the basket is 2.5 lbs.
Estate item in wonderful condition.
