Antique Sterling Silver B.P.O.E. Stamp Card or Photo Case by Alfred Schickerling

This listing is for an amazing antique sterling silver card case, photo locket/case or stamp case by Alfred Schickerling  Jewelry Co of New York
The case is rectangular in shape, measuring approx. 2 1/8" x 1 1/6" x 3/16"
The front is decorated with sterling silver flowers and leaves with a blank banner along the top and a banner along the bottom that reads B.P.O.E. which stands for Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks
Towards the center of the case is a circle which features a silver elk head over what appears to be a partial clock with a red enameled or glass star surrounded by blue enamel or glass which also lightly has the letters B.P.O.E. within it
The case opens at the bottom; the inside case is marked "Patented Nov. 22, 1910" and "Sterling" and "Alfred Schlickerling Jew. Co. 51 Maiden Lane N.Y."
The backside of the case features more sterling designs and a blank center
The top of the case is attached to a nickel silver chain & swivel; the chain measures approx. 5 1/2" and the top swivel piece is marked "W" on one side and "Hickok Beltogram" and "Sterling" and "Nickel Silver Chain & Swivel"
This entire piece weighs 38.8 grams
Wonderful antique piece. Great patina/tarnishing, some spotting and scratches. Some wear by the elk's head. Some wear on the enamel/glass. Please view all pictures & please message with questions. Thank you!
