Victorian Silver Plated Engraved Compote Basket
This piece is interesting simply because it is so old.
8 5/8” in diameter, 3 ¼” tall, and handle is additional 5” tall.
A bit bent up, see the photos, but a neat old piece. The metal is rather bendable, and if you're someone with a bit more patience and skill than what I have, you could probably set it to rights. Quite a bit of silver loss, though I think some of the dark spots would shine up with a bit more love.

Brooklyn, NY  1886-1928
Founded by Elizur G. Webster and his son Fred H. Webster.  The
business was sold to International Silver in 1928 and moved to
Meriden, CT, where it was combined with the Barbour Silver Co.
