Derby Silver Co. Quadruple Plate Cake Basket , Oriental Etching, ATQ Circa 1890s.
Founded in 1872 in Birmingham Conn. in 1898 merged with the International Silver Company.
This piece is an antique whose circa is ‘1880- 90’s based on production runs
Measurements: 9” in diameter at rim, 4.75” in diameter at base, 5” high to rim, 13.5” with handle fully extended.
Condition: Excellent for vintage and use. No breaks, bends, pits, cracks, very minimal scratches. Arms intact and swing gracefully. Flaw: age tarnish. See pictures. NOTE: I attempted to share the most pertinent shots; I will be happy to provide more upon request.
