    Description

    Description:
This is one very special original painting: it is the title painting of the book, I Remember Hunt City, by the artist and author Clarence Hunt Stamm. You can get an idea what the
    book is about here: https://www.blurb.com/b/5767078-i-remember-hunt-city
It appears that Clarence Stamm worked as commercial artist for most of his life. Only in retirement, he began to paint for his own pleasure. In 1964, triggered by a 1910 picture of his birth town, Hunt City, he painted this nostalgic painting of the Hunt City in 1910 and wrote the book "I Remember Hunt City".
Comparing the signature of the painting on the book cover and the signature of this painting, I think this painting may be one of the identical copies the artist made.
