Post WW2 German Poster Free Democratic Party Kurt Weidner Committee for RefugeesThis post WW2 German Broadside Poster for the meetings with the Free Democratic Party was intended to get the attention of the refugee's of the war. When roughly translated the poster is advertising the planned public speaking engagements of Kurt Weidner - "Member of the main committee for refugees and reported to the state commissioner Munich" The meetings were taking place "On Monday, October 21, 1946 at 3:00 p.m. in Lichtenfels in the Bergschlob Hall on Tuesday, October 22, 1946 at 3:00 p.m. in the Inn "Three Crowns" in Burgkunstadt."
The poster advertises "Flüchtling und Gleichstellung" - translates to Refugees and Equality
At the bottom of the poster is marked the "Freie Demokratische Partei" - translates to Free Democratic Party.
This is a very vibrant colored poster and is in excellent condition. The poster has been folded and stored as such. Due to the folding there is an intersection at the top of the page where a piece of the poster has been worn out. The poster has a small tar along the center crease at the top (approx. .25") and bottom (approx. .5"). The creases are visible when flattened, but there are no other tears or areas that are damaged on the poster.
Measures approx. 16-7/8" x 24".
