by Artist Craig Tinder showcases Luftwaffe Pilot Hans Mutke in a fleeing attempt to escape USAAF P-51D Mustangs. In a controversial claim, Mutke claimed to be the first man to break the sound barrier in his Me-262.
Each canvas print comes ready to hang with a solid, 2" black stained wood frame and includes an embedded fragment
from a Messerschmitt Me 262 mounted on a beautifully engraved metallic data plate which outlines the details of the print and relic for all viewers to learn about. As an added touch, each framed art piece includes a metallic, Certificate of Authenticity for added provenance and collectibility.

About the Print:
25 April 1945 - In an untouchable pursuit by the U.S. 8th Air Force P-51D Mustangs, Ens. Hans Guido Mutke accelerates "White 3", his trusted Me-262 to safety. Mutke would later claim that he was the first to break the sound barrier - in the Me-262.
About the Artifact:
May 1945 - 4-meter aluminum sheets from an Me 262 production line were removed by a fleeing Czech worker when German production ceased at the end of the war. Using a cart and horse, the sheeting was taken to the worker's property and was used as roofing material. This artifact was cut from one of those sheets in 2021, which still includes the original AWS (Aluminum Walzwerke Singen) manufacturer stamp.
