    Description

    Stunning Victorian Bride's Basket! Custard glass overlay with Uranium fades out to Oxblood tips.
    Crimped and ruffled edge with a raised bump design.
    The tips and bowl are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. On the base of the bowl there is a small chip on the edge.

    I don't read German but it translates to wishing their teacher a good silver wedding (anniversary?) of his class.
    Bowl is 9" wide, 2 7/8" tall. On the stand the whole piece is 8 1/2" high. Stand has the mark of an anchor from Anchor Silver Plate Co, of St Paul MN.  Quadruple silver plate. 491. Also a small hard to read engraving ( Luh hae?)
